The sky looked active and promising for a good sunset this evening so risked the rush hour traffic and got to the sea front in time to see the sun nearing its setting – lighting up the Wheel and casting strong shadow on the ugliest new building in the town.
Turning around to face the sun the view was beautiful – a lone runner made a good focus for this shot. Thanks to the
A1 CameraClubWeston – a tip I learned was to close down the aperture to f22 to get the modest starburst effect.

Turn back towards the town and the gathering clouds loomed and glowed.

Turn again towards the “sea” and the reflections caught my attention for the next image to make.

Showing again how it always pays to look behind you when photographing a sunset 🙂
